Kyle Anthony Pitts, more popularly known as Kyle Pitts, is a tight end who plays for the National Football League (NFL) team, the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football for the Florida Gators football team (University of Florida). Pitts was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft as the fourth overall pick.
Garnering accolades like the unanimous All-American title and the John Mackey Award for outstanding college football in 2020, Pitts’ arrival was highly anticipated by the Falcons’ management and coaching staff, a sentiment articulated by Falcons GM Terry Fontenot. Terry Fontenot had emphasized the unparalleled value Pitt brings to the team.
It will be interesting to note that he was a backup tight end in his freshman season and only got upgraded to a starter in his sophomore year. He earned first-team All-SEC honors that season as well.
Kyle Pitts had a phenomenal college career and is repeating the same in the NFL
Kyle Pitts managed to repeat the same feat the following year as well. He finished his college career with 100 receptions for 1492 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns. Kyle Pitts played in 32 overall games for the Florida Gators.

Kyle Pitts has signed a huge rookie contract with the Atlanta Falcons
Kyle Pitts, the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, etched his name in history not once but twice, securing the highest guaranteed rookie contract for a tight end. He signed a four-year deal worth $32.9 million with the Atlanta Falcons.
Pitts received a staggering $21.3 million signing bonus, setting a new bar in his position’s contract landscape. At just 20 years old, he now holds the record for the most substantial guaranteed contract among NFL tight ends, surpassing stars like Travis Kelce and George Kittle by $12 million and $10 million, respectively.

With this monumental contract, the pressure on Pitts to deliver in his debut NFL season intensifies. His remarkable performance in his final seasons at Florida—amassing 97 catches, 1,419 yards, and 17 touchdowns—solidified his status as a top prospect in the NFL Draft.
As Pitts steps onto the field, he faces the challenge of proving his worth to the Falcons’ organization and their fanbase, aiming to justify every cent of his record-breaking contract through his on-field performance. Kyle Pitts has a net worth of $4 million in 2023.
