The Brazilian wonderkid is scheduled to arrive in Madrid this summer. Endrick, 17 has been touted as the next big thing from Brazil by many. And Real Madrid managed to acquire the young talent in December 2022 when they signed him from Palmeiras. The youngster has been stacking up goals in the Brazillian Série A.
Endrick will join Madrid in July 2024 after completing his development with Palmeiras. But the rumored arrival of Kylian Mbappe has caused some question marks around Endrick’s arrival. Some reports have claimed that in the light of Mbappe to Madrid rumors, Palmeiras wants to extend the youngster’s loan till December.
Kylian Mbappe’s move to Madrid won’t stand in the way of Endrick
While reports across the Internet might feel so, the renowned Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano doesn’t. In a tweet regarding the matter, Romano claimed that the 2018 World Cup winner’s move to Madrid will not change anything regarding Endrick’s future.
Fabrizio tweeted, “⚪️🇧🇷 Real Madrid are not changing their plans for Endrick after Mbappé negotiations advancing to the final stages. Real want Endrick in Europe starting from July and the discussion about extended loan to Palmeiras until December is considered out of question.”

Fans of the Merengues will be happy to hear this news. It has been over 14 months already since Endrick put pen on paper and signed the Madrid contract. And since December 2022, Madridistas have been eagerly waiting for the day he joins the Los Blancos.
While an extended loan is still a probability it is hard to refute against Romano’s claim. Even fans can’t wait any longer to see the 17-year-old in Whites.
Fans react to the Brazilian starlet’s eventual arrival
Expressing their feelings about the imminent arrival of Endrick Felipe, soccer fans took to X(fka Twitter) under Fabrizio Romano’s post. Many of them being Madridistas expressed their happiness and eagerness on X.
Addressing the plethora of young talent Real Madrid has acquired over the years; seemingly almost giving off a sense of greed, one fan said, “I love it, Greedy in all things 😍”. Another fan expressed along the same lines, “Real Madrid are so selfish.”
A fan didn’t hold back his comparisons and went on to address Endrick as the next Pele. He said, “Well of course we’re not changing our plans he’s the next Pele”. Another added, “This Madrid team should be investigated or rather stopped”. One fan, a rarity compared to others seemed skeptical about Endrick. The fan questioned, “Is he that good?”
On the other hand, a fan seemed super-confident about the Brazilian’s ability. The fan claimed, “Brace yourself for the best striker in La Liga.” The consensus amongst the Madrid fanbase surely was one of utter excitement to welcome the 17-year-old with open arms whenever he does set foot in the Capital city of Spain.
