Carlos Takam is one of the deadliest boxers in the heavyweight division. Having made his professional boxing debut back in December of 2005, the Cameroonian-born French professional boxer continues to prove his boxing prowess even today. With over 15 years of professional ring experience, Carlos Takam will go down as one of the most impactful heavyweight boxers in the history of the sport.
Carlos Takam has competed 45 times inside the professional ring, winning 39 of those bouts, out of which 28 have come via way of stoppage. Takam has faced some of the greatest boxers to ever step inside the boxing ring in the form of Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua, Alexander Povetkin among others. Carlos Takam was born in Cameroon and later immigrated to France for a better living. Takam repressed his country Cameroon in the 2004 Athens Olympics and is also a 2003 African Championship gold medallist. Takam holds both French and Cameroon citizenship.
