Meet Gina Mazany – Wife of UFC Legend Tim Elliott Who is Also a Fighter

Giza Mazany is an American mixed martial artist competing in the UFC’s flyweight division. She is 7-4 in her mixed martial arts career and has proved her credibility inside the Octagon time and again. However, a fair share of ups and downs has kept her on the sidelines, and it will exciting to see her make her return to the Octagon this weekend against Priscila Cachoeira at UFC 262.

Gina Mazany is not just popular for being a fighter. She made headlines after UFC legend Tim Elliott announced his engagement to the American mixed martial artist. Mazany is married to Tim Elliott and the couple got engaged in July of 2020.

Gina Mazany completed her education at The Art Institute of Seattle and worked as a Graphic designer for a brief period of time, before switching her career to mixed martial arts. Mazany is in her second run with the company, with her first stint with the promotion not going too well for the American mixed martial artist.

Gina Mazany made her MMA debut in August 2008 and has since then competed in 11 professional fights. After a poor 1-3 stint with the UFC during the first time around, Mazany made an appearance at KOTC: Golden Fights in a winning effort with a first-round stoppage.

However, Mazany faced adversity once again after she lost to Julia Avila via TKO in the first round in the bantamweight division. However, Mazany made a huge comeback, moving to the flyweight division with an incredible stoppage win over Rachael Ostovich.

Tim Elliott is an American mixed martial artist who competed in the UFC’s flyweight division. Elliott is widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, having fought the likes of Joseph Benavidez, Demetrious Johnson, Deiveson Figueiredo, and John Dodson among others.

Elliott has competed in 29 professional fights and is 17-11 in his mixed martial arts career. Elliott made his MMA debut with a decision draw against Jerod Spoon, marking the sole draw in his MMA career. He is also a former Titan FC flyweight champion and continues to compete inside the UFC Octagon.
