Mike Perry suffered his second straight loss inside the Octagon as he dropped a unanimous decision to Daniel Rodriguez at UFC Vegas 23: Vettori vs Holland. The American fighter is now on a two-fight losing streak and has just one more fight in his contract. Needless to say, at a time when UFC is going through fighter cuts, Perry needs to win his next fight to stay relevant in the UFC.
Mike Perry has shown significant improvement from the last night and looks much more determined after the birth of her daughter. Perry is a family man now and looks much more serious towards his profession as a mixed martial artist. In a heartbreaking tone, Perry shared his thoughts on the loss in a recent Instagram post where the Platinum can be seen smiling with his family.
“I used to be great. I don’t know what happened.” Perry captioned.

Perry’s last win came against Mickey Gall at UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs Hooker. In the fight, Perry appeared alongside his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez in his corner for the fight. It raised a lot of questions, however, since Perry won that fight, not much was asked on those grounds. Be that as it may, back-to-back losses have shown that Perry needs to find a team and place with talented training partners to hone his skills.
Mike Perry needs to find a team
The former welterweight title challenger and England’s favorite Darren Till also suggested the same for former nemesis Mike Perry as he extended his space for Perry’s family.

true master of all the arts.
& as humble and deadly as they come!!
If Perry fancies coming here for a few months I would more than be willing to accommodate him and his family and I’m sure my team would feel the same way
Hope whatever he chooses in life he puts him & family 1st x— DT (@darrentill2) April 11, 2021
While it’s lovely to see former enemies settle their beef and now looking out for each other, Till’s statements are harsh yet true. The Englishman is right when he says that Perry has been lacking a team for quite some time now.
It will be interesting to see if Perry will take Till’s advice and join him for his next fight camp. Be that as it may, whether it is with Till or not, Perry needs to find a gym where he can work alongside a coach and a team that puts effort into his growth as a mixed martial artist.
