NBA Matchup: Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic

Date: 22nd November 2021

Time: 06:00 PM ET

The Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee Bucks once again host the 15th seed Orlando Magic at the Fiserv Arena. This is the second time the Bucks and Magic face each other in the 2021-22 NBA regular season.

Milwaukee Bucks season so far

The Milwaukee Bucks convincingly defeated the Magic in their previous meeting, with a monstrous double-double by Giannis Antetokoumpo. The Greek Freak dropped 30 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists in just 32 minutes. So the Bucks will want to repeat their performance on Saturday and continue their three-game winning streak.

Giannis, after a gruelling postseason, has returned with the same fire and ferocity to continue his domination in the league. In the game against the Magic, Giannis added another feather to his hat as he became the second-ever player to put up a stat line of 30 points and 20 rebounds in 30 minutes since 1959. Before the Greek Freak, the record was held by 3x NBA champion and Celtic legend Willie Naulls.

Orlando Magic season so far

The downward slump of the Orlando Magic continues as they rack up another defeat and stay at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Against the Bucks, Orlando was behind the eight ball right from the get-go as they were down by 12 after the first quarter. They made a little run in the second half, but Cream City took control and rallied towards victory.

With the defeat, the Magic suffered another blow as sophomore sensation Cole Anthony couldn’t suit up for the game because of a sprained right ankle. Cole Anthony, in his short career, has developed a knack for being injured. Starting from his college days, he missed six weeks for knee surgery. Last season, he missed 25 games due to a rib injury.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Orlando Magic match prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks are the clear favourites to win this game. Giannis will continue to push for his third MVP and take the Bucks to the top of the Eastern Conference. Whereas for the Magic, this game will be an uphill battle and will give another young guard, RJ Hampton, the opportunity to play and speed up their rebuilding. But like their last game, Cream City will have to be aggressive from the opening tip to deny Orlando any opportunity to assert control.
