Eagle FC (Eagle Fighting Championship) is all set to hold Its very first event on North American soil. The Khabib Nurmagomedov owned promotion’s fight card will take place in Miami, Florida on January 28. It features plenty of big name MMA fighters.
At the top of the bill, it features Tyrone Spong and Sergei Kharitonov at heavyweight. The card will also see the return of former UFC light-heavyweight champion ‘Suga’ Rashad Evans. Rashad retired from active competition after his loss to Anthony Smith in 2018

Eagle FC is rapidly making strides in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. The former UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov bought the promotion in 2020 and named it after his own nickname. The upcoming card will be its 44th event.
Eagle FC 44: Fight Card
Aside from the main and co-main event, this card features fights that guarantee entertainment. One such fight is going to be Ray Borg vs Cody Gibson in the Bantamweight division. Let’s take a look at the entire fight card.

Former UFC fighters on the card
The aforementioned Rashad Evans and Ray Borg are the two most well known former UFC fighters to feature on this card. While Rashad captured gold during his run, Ray Borg fell short of it. However, he was always a top contender in the Bantamweight division due to his mobility and speed.

Other than these two, Cody Gibson also featured in the UFC for a period of time. He won only 1 of his 4 fights in the organisation before getting cut. John Howard had a run of 7 fights in UFC, winning 3 of them and losing 4.
During his 8 fight stint in the UFC, Anthony Njokuani won 3 fights and lost 4. Former UFC heavyweight Yorgan De Castro had 4 fights under the UFC umbrella. He came into the organisation after winning a fight on DWCS (Dana White’s Contender Series). But Castro lost all 3 of his next fights in the main promotion and got cut.
