Manager Ali Abdelaziz has sent a stern statement on Tony Ferguson’s management team. Ali claimed that Ballengee Group – the management team that currently has Tony Ferguson under them reached to Justin Gaethje after the latter’s emphatic TKO win over the former interim champion. In a tweet, Abdelaziz said that Ferguson always ends up with “f****d up people.”
Yes I have a question @TonyFergusonXT did you know your management team tried to reach out to Justin Gaethje after he beat your ass? You always ending up with some fucked up people but don’t worry I will slap them for you https://t.co/e6r7R0azOf

According to Ali, it is a situation similar to that of Jon Jones and Rashad Evans where Evans’ management firm decided to approach Jon Jones after the latter’s emphatic win over Evans for the UFC’s light-heavyweight title. Ali also took a subtle dig at Ferguson’s last management company Paradigm Sports that manages the likes of Conor McGregor. Ferguson has stated his concerns with his last management company on several occasions. However, Ali’s claims that Ballengee Group approached Justin Gaethje hints that the company thinks El Cucuy is washed up.
After the devastating loss, many have stated that Ferguson is washed up. El Cucuy suffered a dominating loss at the hands of Gaethje back at UFC 249. However, El Cucuy feels he is far from done and will look to reclaim his shot at the title belt with a win at UFC 256.
Ali Abdelaziz further claimed that if the management company decides to reject his statement, he has screenshots to make valid his claims about the management.
Oh and good luck next week champ 😉

Will Tony Ferguson sign Ali Abdelaziz as Manager?
This led many to believe that Ali could be looking at potentially signing Ali Abdelaziz. However, he denied any such claims and looked dead against the idea of managing Tony Ferguson.
Fuck no https://t.co/eecxXDmGUJ

Meanwhile, Tony Ferguson is set to return to the Octagon against Charles Oliveira in what promises to be an epic battle between two solid submission specialist. Oliveira is on a winning streak and is coming off an impressive win over Kevin Lee. Should Oliveria get a win over Tony Ferguson next, there’s a title opportunity knocking on the door for the Brazilian fighter.
Tony Ferguson will have a lot to prove in the next fight as he takes on an MMA veteran in the form of Oliveria and will look to answer his critics with a dominating win inside the Octagon.
