Usman is not the only fighter in his family. Usman’s brother Mohammed Usman also competes in mixed martial arts. Mohammed is younger than Usman and competes in the Professional Fighters League or the PFL. He is a heavyweight contender with ferocious power in his hands.
Mohammed Usman rejected the offer to fight inside the UFC Octagon and also rejected ONE and Bellator citing a better offer from PFL. He added that since it’s a sport where anything can happen, he found it wise to go with PFL than with the UFC. Sooner or later, the younger Usman could find his way to the UFC.
