Who Are Dustin Poirier’s Training Partners?

Dustin Poirier is a name that needs no introduction. He is one of the greatest fighters of this generation. Currently, he’s set to face Conor McGregor in UFC 257 for the second time in his career. Earlier, he used to train at Gladiators Academy under Tim Credeur. But after falling short to Chan Sung Jung, he started training at American Top Team. A great fighter needs to have a great team by his side.

Dustin Poirier’s BJJ Coach – Tim Credeur

The Diamond has acquired his black belt in BJJ in 2017 under former mixed martial artist Tim Credeur He runs Gladiators Academy, where Poirier used to train earlier. It is evident that Poirier has some real skills on the ground as he has forced his opponents to tap out at 7 different occasions in his career. Since Poirier currently trains with ATT, it’s obvious that he would train with their pro fight team coaches.

The BJJ coach is Marcos DaMatta who is a Carlson Gracie black belt since 1997. He’s got multiple BJJ championships under his belt.

Poirier’s longtime nutritionist is George Lockhart who has also served the likes of many well-known fighters and champions.
