In the buildup to the upcoming Madrid Open, Naomi Osaka gave an interview, wherein she provided her fans with certain fun information about her life and also how she would like to learn from the young sensation, Carlos Alacaraz’s practice sensation.
Carlos was already viewed as an upcoming young prospect and the closest tennis player when compared to Rafael Nadal. All of this talk got further escalated after he recently won the Barcelona Open.
His strength, resilience and technique have impressed a lot of people and Naomi Osaka is one among those.
The former world number 1 has plans to step up her game in the upcoming Madrid Open and she has a very good chance of doing the same since all of her fans know that her strength lies on the clay courts owing to the tips given by the ‘King of Clay’, Rafael Nadal.

When Naomi was asked about the star who she would be looking up to in the upcoming Madrid Open, without any hesitation she said, Rafael Nadal.
She also mentioned that she would be interested in watching a lot of good clay-court players and one among them is Carlos Alcaraz. She stated,
“Honestly I’ve been wanting to watch the really good clay-court players practice because I feel like I’m the type of person that learns really fast if I see it up close and honestly it’s a bit of a waste to have all these really good professional tennis players and not watch them,”
“I’ve kind of wanted to see Carlos Alcaraz, so it’d be cool to watch everyone practice.”
It would surely be interesting to see how Naomi Osaka and Carlos Alcaraz fare in the upcoming Madrid Open. Both of these stars currently have a good amount of momentum on their side owing to a string of good results in their previous tournaments.
Naomi lost out on the finals to the Miami Open and Carlos won the Barcelona Open which subsequently brought him up to the top 10 rankings in the ATP list.
