NBA Matchup: Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics
Date: 24th November 2021
Time: 10:30 pm ET
The Brooklyn Nets and Boston get ready for a heavyweight eastern conference battle. Both the Celtics and Nets enter the Garden on a three-game winning streak as the playoff race intensifies in the league.
Brooklyn Nets season so far
The Brooklyn Nets are on the top of the eastern conference with 13 wins and five losses, living up to the favourites tag. Kevin Durant has been on fire as he is trailing Steph Curry in the MVP race. KD is averaging 28.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists and is leading the Nets to the top of the NBA.

With KD, James Harden has also picked up his game after the early season struggles with new foul calling rules. Role players like Joe Harris, Patty Mills, Paul Mislasp have been consistent, making Brooklyn an offensive monster. But the Nets have still struggled to get adequate contributions from the bench, which in turn is holding them back from possible glory.

Boston Celtics season so far
The Boston Celtics are turning around their once downhill going season with consistent winning performances against quality teams. The Celtics are currently on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Lakers, Rockets and Thunder.

Jaylen Brown’s return has created a positive impact on the Celtics. His two-ability often elevates the team and makes Boston a defensive juggernaut. Like Brooklyn, the Celtics also lack scoring depth, which could cost them important games. But, Boston will still be a difficult matchup in the east because of their star, Jayson Tatum who has been putting up stats like 25.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics match prediction
Irrespective of Boston’s defensive prowess, Brooklyn is the favourite to win this game and extend their winning streak. The Nets would want to duplicate their playoff performance from last season. But this game wouldn’t be a cakewalk as the dynamic duo of Tatum and Brown have been on a tear as they defeated the Lakers by 22 points.
