He had one of the best seasons when it came to shooting as well as performance on the court. he was the highest vote-getter for the NBA All-Star game that year. That season saw the Warriors finish with 63 wins in the regular season. Curry put up 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, and 2 steals per game. He was crowned MVP.
The Golden State Warriors made the playoffs that season and had an extremely amazing run. In-game 5 against the Memphis Grizzlies, Chef Curry went on to become the first player in the NBA to have 6 three-pointers and 6 steals in a game.
In Game 6 he had a career-high 8 three-pointers in a single game. The Golden State Warriors went on to defeat the Houston Rockets to win their first championship in 40 years.
2016-2018: Curry and the Warriors go back to back
The 2016-2018 period was when Stephen Curry and the Warriors were balling out. This season saw Curry set a record streak of 157 games with at least one-made three in each game. Stephen Curry guided the Warriors to clean sweeps in the first round.
The 2017 NBA finals saw the Warriors take on LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers Curry recorded a triple-double in Game 2 and then helped the Warriors win the championship.
The 2017-18 season was no different for the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry. This season saw the Golden State Warriors reach their fifth consecutive NBA Finals. Stephen Curry faced LeBron James yet again in the finals and helped the team enough to ensure that he wore his third ring.
