Almost 5 months earlier on October 2022, an unwanted incident occurred in the Golden State Warriors training camp. Draymond Green and Jordan Poole got themselves involved in an altercation, which left the latter with a sore face. The video of Green punching Poole in the face went viral. This caught the attention of several sports personalities and celebrities. Jake Paul, brother of Logan Paul caught hold of the video as well.
After watching the video of Green punching the lights out of Poole, instantly reacted to the incident. Jake Paul who just like his brother, a YouTube content creator turned professional boxer, offered Green a lucrative offer. Jake Paul offered Green $10 million if he got in a ring as an undercard for his fight with UFC fighter Anderson Silva.

“I was wrong for my actions that took place on Wednesday. For that, I have apologized to my team. I have apologized to Jordan.” Said Draymond. The Warriors decided to levy a fine for his actions and not suspend him. Green even apologized to his teammates, who accepted his apology and decided to move ahead from the incident.
The Golden State Warriors decided to fine Draymond Green without any suspension
The Warriors decided to fine Green for his actions in the training camp and didn’t think suspending him would be in their best interest. “This is the biggest crisis that we’ve had since I’ve been the coach here,” said Kerr. “It’s really serious stuff. We’re not perfect … but we’re going to lean on the experience that we have together over the last nine years and trust that this is the best decision for our team not to suspend Green,” said Kerr.

Stephen Curry has been a true leader for the Warriors in the past couple of seasons and inspiring the team on the court. Kerr praised Steph for his involvement, and to decide on the best decision moving forward for the franchise. Nonetheless, the Warriors still have to pick up their pace, as they are out of the playoff spots. They lost their first game to the Lakers, after the All-Star weekend, which makes it a 2-game losing streak for them.
