Phoenix Suns vs Milwaukee Bucks NBA Finals Game 2 Prediction
Giannis and Chris Paul suffered injuries/sickness these playoffs. Before the start of the series, fans and analysts said that Giannis’s health would define who takes home a ring. The Suns were in a mood to prove everyone wrong and they did so in game 1. After analyzing the proceedings of game 1, it is safe to say that the Suns will take home game 2.
Chris Paul has had a wonderful playoff run this season. Not even a Covid scare could keep the 36-year-old from fighting to bring home his first ring. Paul will have to keep up his good form on both ends of the court in order to give the Suns a 2-0 lead. He will have enough assistance from the young Devin Booker. CP3 has averaged 18.1 points, 8.7 assists and 3. rebounds per game this postseason. In game 1 against the Bucks, he had an FG% of 63.2 shooting 57.1% from the three-point line.
The Bucks defence has been slow. The Suns took advantage of this and recorded most of their points through lay-ups and mid-range shots. The Bucks will have to put a stop to a drop coverage defence if they intend to stop the Suns. Paul and Booker are lethal when it comes to mid-range shots and the Bucks have gifted them two stars open shots in the same area.
The Sun’s role players dominated the Bucks. Deandre Ayton has stepped up and given all the support he can to Paul and Booker. The Milwaukee Bucks are yet to figure out how to put the brakes on Ayton. The Phoenix Bench also arrived at the party. Cameron Payne and Cameron Johnson both put up ten points each, giving the Bucks more to worry about when the Bucks pen down defence strategies for game 2. The good news for the Bucks is that Giannis seems to be in good health after returning from the injury.
