Milwaukee Bucks celebrate defeating Phoenix Suns

The Milwaukee Bucks have done the seemingly impossible and defeated the Phoenix Suns. By doing so, they have won the NBA Championship. Giannis Antetokounmpo transcended and elevated his game on the largest stage to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to win at home. The only times the Milwaukee Bucks have made the NBA Finals in the past were in 1971 and 1974 with Kareem- Abdul- Jabbar.

The Milwaukee Bucks eliminated the Phoenix Suns in 6 games. Additionally, they won 4 straight games in a row. By doing so, Giannis Antetokounmpo has won his first championship at the age of 26. This is a feat that superstars have struggled to accomplish without switching teams at this stage in their careers.

The Greek Freak also signed a supermax extension with the Milwaukee Bucks going into this season. Additionally, he did so when the Brooklyn Nets superteam was being formed. Therefore, this speaks to his loyalty, trust, and character. He did not let his hyperextended knee impact his play in any way in game 6. The Bucks won the game 105-98

So how did the Milwaukee Bucks defeat the Phoenix Suns?

Giannis Antetokounmpo proved without a doubt, that he was the most dominant force in the NBA Finals. This also settles the claims as to who the Finals MVP is. The Greek Freak recorded a staggering stat line in the NBA Finals. He scored 50 PTS, 14 RBD, and 2 AST, to lead both teams in scoring and rebounding. Additionally, he had 5 BLKs and made 16 of 25 shots from the field( 64%).

The Greek Freak proved that he can elevate his efficiency furthermore. He made 1 of 3 three-pointers ( 33%) and made 17 of 19 free-throw attempts. The Milwaukee Bucks seemed to be unable to knock down shots during several crucial stretches in the second quarter.

He was the only player going at 100% for the Milwaukee Bucks. His 5 BLKS show his efficiency of the defensive end as he was able to guard Deandre Ayton very well in stretches of this game. Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated and showed that he was unguardable by the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns got off to a slow start and were outscored by the Milwaukee Bucks 29-16 in the first quarter. Both Devin Booker and Chris Paul got off to a slow start. Devin Booker finished the night with only 19 PTS 3 RBD and 5 AST. He made only 8 of 22 shots( 36.4%) in this crucial game 6.

Chris Paul fared better and finished the night with 26 PTS 2 RBD and 5 AST. However, this is a shabby stat line for both the Veteran and young superstar from the Phoenix Suns. Cp3 made 11 of 19 shots( 57%) and three of four free throws (75%). However, he also had 3 turnovers. Additionally, Devin Booker also had 6 turnovers.

Therefore, the primary reason the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Phoenix Suns can be broken down into two parts. First, Giannis is simply unstoppable on offence and an imminent threat on defence. He has proved that he is capable of leading a team to an NBA Championship. Another reason the Milwaukee Bucks won is their efficient backcourt of Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. The Suns had not faced a team with as effective and efficient guards.

Therefore, Booker and Chris were contained in several crucial games. Therefore the big 3 of the Milwaukee Bucks led by the Greek Freak have won their first NBA Championship.
