The first glimpse at the season six trailer of “The Real Housewives of Miami” has created quite a buzz. While the show is already famous for its drama, it has only got better this season. Especially as fans will get to witness the new couple in town who have been making waves since they met. It’s none other than Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan.
Larsa who became widely renowned as NBA star Scottie Pippen’s wife has been in the main cast of RHOM since season one. On the other hand, Marcus is the son of Michael Jordan and will be making a few appearances this season. With Larsa and Marcus together in the show, it is likely that everything they say will take the internet by storm.

In the trailer, just one line by Marcus has already got fans thrilled about what is about to come. He asked his 49-year-old girlfriend, “My dad, does he approve of our relationship?”. After which, Larsa Pippen turned her head away to look at the floor instead of replying. As the show will go live next month, fans will witness whether she replied or was it just a moment of embarrassment.
Michael’s disapproval of his son being in a relationship with his former teammate Scottie’s ex-wife is not unknown. MJ’s one-word answer to this has already stirred quite a conversation. Furthermore, Marcus and Larsa spoke about this in one of the episodes of their podcast, and their take on this was unexpected.
Larsa Pippen felt embarrassed after Michael Jordan’s disapproval of the relationship
Michael Jordan broke his silence back in July whereas Scottie has still maintained one. His Airness told a photographer “NO” to whether he approves of the relationship between his son Marcus and Larsa. Michael’s son spoke about this in a different light on the ‘Separation Anxiety’ podcast.
He stated, “At first, he laughed, you know, kind of like how I laugh at a lot of the questions that we go through on this podcast”. Marcus further explained what exactly happened during the interaction between the reporter and his father. In his words, “He laughed, and then the reporter I guess asked again, and he let out an emphatic ‘no,’ and then shook his head again as he was walking to his car.”
Additionally, Marcus also revealed that his father reached out to him after this news spread around like fire. MJ wanted to make sure that his son knew the truth and didn’t take it in the wrong light. Further, Marcus pointed out “I can make my own decisions, he doesn’t need to approve who I date or my personal relationships. He’s going to love me no matter what”.

While Marcus’ take on this event was somewhat positive, Larsa on the other hand was embarrassed with what happened. She pointed out how Marcus in fact found this funny, whereas, “I didn’t think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it,” Larsa continued, “I kinda felt like it went everywhere, and I was kind of embarrassed.”
Despite everyone pointing fingers at their brewing love, Larsa and Marcus have made it clear that they are building something strong. Their wedding “In The Works” took the internet by storm and even though they were quick to debunk the engagement rumors, the two could not hold back from discussing wedding plans.
