Ja Morant has been one of the most fearless players in the league. He can and will go against anybody and will attack the paint with everything he has got. He is competitive and one of the most athletic point guards the game has ever seen. Since the day he came into the league, Ja has been a highlight reel. Morant can go against the best shot blockers in the league, even against the 3-time defensive player of the year Rudy Gobert with no fear.

The improvement Ja Morant has shown this season is off the charts
Morant this season has shown that he can lead a team with little to no help. Memphis Grizzlies are currently the 4th seed in the Western Conference. Individually this has been Ja’s year. This is his 3rd year in the league and he is already a superstar in the making. In his rookie season, he averaged 17.8 points per game.
But now in his 3rd year, he has bumped that up by 7 points, with 25.1 points per game on 48/40/77 shooting splits. He has already overcome his weakness. Everybody in the league used to sag off of him as he was not a great shooter when he came into the league. This season Morant has shown his work ethic and is now shooting an incredible 40% from three on 4.3 attempts per game.

Ja Morant is averaging a career high in points, rebounds, blocks, and steals. The 22-year old also showed that he is not scared of the big moments. Last year in an elimination game against the Golden State Warriors, he went for 30 points and iced the game with his patented floater.
This year he went toe-to-toe against the Phoenix Suns and scored 33 points in a win against the 2nd seeded Suns. He also showed the Lakers that sagging off of the screen might be a mistake as he made 6 of his 7 threes and ended the game with 41 points and 10 rebounds. Ja Morant will be an all-star this year and in the coming years, he will be in the conversation of the MVP.
