Among them is the late Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa Bryant.
The news of the two datings was speculated when both were seen together at the 2021 WNBA All-Star Game in Las Vegas. According to sources, the two were present as the WNBA was honoring the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. Apart from them, Vanessa’s 3 daughters were also seen. Derek being the head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks WNBA team was present there.

In the picture, the two were seen sitting and chatting in the luxury box during the game due to which many speculated of the two were dating. However, they were just false rumors and the two have not been seen together anymore. Apart from this, they had just met each other at the time when Kobe and Derek were playing for the Lakers. After the incident, the two haven’t met since then.
