Kobe Bryant passed away in 2020 because of a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. The NBA legend’s helicopter crashed in the hills after the pilot, Ara Zobayan, chose to reach high altitudes but lost control later on due to weather complications. The entire world mourned after the Black Mamba’s death. He lost his life with his daughter, Giannia, and seven others that day.
Another death that caught the attention of the entire world will be Nipsey Hussle’s. The rapper became famous for his philanthropic efforts. He had a rough past when he was involved in gangs. However, Nipsey changed his life and made sure to inspire other young men and helped those in need. This was one of the main reasons why he had millions of fans, including an all-time NBA great.
LeBron James believes Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle are with him in spirit every single day
LeBron James has been quite vocal about his support for both Kobe and Nipsey. In February 2021, he posted on Instagram and paid tribute to the icons. The caption said, “Wit me every single day when walking my hallways. Continues to live on!,” and included “#LegendsNeverDie” as well. In the post, LeBron was posing with a painting of Bryant and Hussle.

The painting had both of them facing each other, and wearing crowns made out of golden leaves. LeBron could be seen bowing out of respect for the pair as well. He has spoken about Nipsey’s death in the past and said, “It’s one of the most unfortunate events that’s happened in American history.”
In addition to that, LeBron said that he would be working together with Maverick Carter and Springhill to produce a documentary about Nipsey.

King James has opened up about Kobe’s death as well. Right after the crash, James penned an emotional message for Bryant. The message contained, “I’ll continue your legacy man! Please give me the strength from the heavens above and watch over me! I got US here!” The Los Angeles Lakers star paid another fitting tribute to the NBA legend after winning the 2020 NBA championship.
Both Kobe and Nipsey’s deaths have been two of the most tragic events in recent years. It has affected the entire world in more ways than one can only imagine.
