Malik Beasley and Montana Yao relationship controversy
Malik and Montana’s relationship began when the two met in 2018, following which they got married. However, it was in 2020, when there was news that the couple is getting a divorce. According to sources, photos were leaked of Malik holding hands with Larsa Pippen as the two were spotted in a mall in Miami. Larsa at that time was the ex-wife of Bulls legend Scottie Pippen, that speculated the news more.
Following this, Montana immediately filed a divorce claiming Malik left behind his family and had relations with another woman. As per sources, Malik and Pippen were in a relationship before but the two split up in April 2021. However, apart from this, Montana also took to her Instagram page and publicly criticized and commented on it. “Wow…I don’t even know this man…this is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all. I’ve always and will forever remain true to who I am and GOD has never let me down. The truth always comes out one way or another.” – she wrote.
Malik too commented back by publicly apologizing to Montana on his Instagram story. He asked for forgiveness and claimed that he ended the relationship with Pippen. Montana, however, accepted the apology, and their divorce was canceled.
The two today are living a happy married life with their two kids. With Malik getting traded to the Lakers, it will be interesting to see where it takes him. It will be also intriguing if he fits as a good teammate playing alongside the Lakers star LeBron James.
