Michael Jordan is often compared with LeBron James regarding who is the better basketball player. In MJ’s case, he had an incredibly successful career that lasted for 15 seasons. Winning as many accolades and titles as he did within that short time frame is extremely tough. The 6x NBA Champion was very dominant and his peers often claim that Jordan had no holes in his game.
LeBron on the other hand, has had a couple of flaws that affected his productivity. But over the years, he has been able to correct them and prove the critics wrong. James has had just as much success as MJ but his lack of titles and MVPs is what ranks him below the alleged GOAT. James is on his last leg but stays headstrong maintaining consistency and growth.
There are several areas where one of better than the other. For instance, in three-point shooting, rebounding, and facilitation, James has the upper hand. Mike was more dominant and delivered far more on the court at times. After all, both players have been great in their respective ways but fans as usual always want to come to a conclusion. Here is another stat that can be added to the debate.
Michael Jordan had a higher SAT Score than LeBron James
LeBron James always claims that he’s a smart person. Over the years, he has proven it to all NBA fans with his high IQ plays, no-look passes, and leadership qualities. The Los Angeles Lakers player never fails to clap back at his doubters. Especially when it comes to maintaining his image and involving himself in socio-political affairs, James has been very influential and sound in his ways.
But as smart as he claims he is, the King allegedly had an SAT Score of 870/1600. Realistically, his score is an average of what most people would achieve or what is ideal to consider yourself a book-smart individual. Generally, a score of 1000 or above is very good. Michael Jordan was able to crack that margin with ease. The Chicago Bulls legend has another stat that could be used against his rival.

Michael Jordan allegedly scored 1100/1600. He also spent a few years at North Carolina University. MJ rose to fame after dominating the entire college basketball scene which is why he was a high draft prospect. James was already a superstar in high-school averaging between 27 to 30 points per game at times. He got drafted in 2003, right after graduating high school. This gave LeBron a few extra years to catch up to legendary records such as the All-Time Regular Season Points scored.
