NBA Matchup: Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies

The Milwaukee Bucks will look to host the rampaging Memphis Grizzlies after defeating the eastern conference leaders Chicago Bulls. Both teams will go head to head for the first time in the 2021-22 NBA season at the Fiserv Forum. The Bucks enter this game on a two-game losing streak after losing to the Hawks and Raptors. 

Milwaukee Bucks season so far

The Milwaukee Bucks have been struggling off let as they have lost a few lower-ranked teams. Milwaukee has lost to the Pistons, Raptors (twice), Hawks and Hornets (twice). In the last ten games, the Cream City has a record of 4-6, averaging 114.3 points, 47.3 rebounds, 23.0 assists, 8.1 steals and 4.8 blocks per game while shooting 44.9% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 111.2 points per game.

The Cream City is led by the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.5 blocks for the Bucks. Khris Middleton is averaging 3.1 made 3-pointers over the last 10 games while averaging 19.6 points for Milwaukee. Jrue Holiday has been also been crucial for the Bucks with his 18.4 points, 6.7 assists and team-high 1.6 steals.

Memphis Grizzlies season so far

The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the best teams in the 2021-22 NBA season. Grizzlies have a record of 31 wins and 15 losses and are placed third in the top-heavy western conference. Grind City has lost just one game in the last ten games.

Memphis is averaging 115.0 points, 52.2 rebounds, 26.3 assists, 9.4 steals and 8.2 blocks per game while shooting 46.8% from the field. Their opponents have averaged 106.4 points.

Grind City is led by the explosive Ja Morant who is averaging 24.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists. Desmond Bane is averaging 3.1 made 3-pointers over the last 10 games while putting up 17.7 points for Memphis. Jaren Jackson Jr. has been great for the Grizzlies as he is averaging 16.1 points while shooting 31.1% from the 3-point line and 41.2% from the field. 

Milwaukee Bucks vs Memphis Grizzlies Match Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Grizzlies have both had great seasons so far. Although both teams are in contrary situations with regards to their form, the Grizzlies look like a team that will take a win in this game. The defending champs have some of the best players on their roster.

But Memphis roster has been great form with a 14-6 away record. Defensively as well Grind City has been incredible and promises to contain the Bucks. Hence the Memphis Grizzles are the favorites to win this game.
