LeBron James is so big a name in the sports world that wherever he goes, it becomes news. Despite the fact that the NBA season is approaching, there have been reports of LeBron James visiting Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. And now the latest speculation suggests that King James could be back in Rochester, Minnesota, already training for the upcoming NBA season.
A vague picture of LeBron in the gym with Rui Hachimura was posted on X, implying his other trip to Minnesota. Another name that was linked to James’ return was obviously the assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, Phil Handy. The news is still dicey, as there is not much buzz about it on the internet as of now, but it sure is positive for LA fans.

LeBron last visited Rochester, Minnesota, for his son Bronny. Bronny succumbed to cardiac arrest during practice, which worried his fans and family. On what looked to be a family dinner night, Bronny was seen in a restaurant with King James. James visited the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, which is one of the best hospitals in the country with top doctors on staff.
According to reports, NBA teams are scheduled to go to training camp on September 27. It’s good news for Lakers Nation that their star is early and getting the work done. LeBron kept his Saudi trip a rather secret, and we should expect King James to face multiple questions about it.
With sports leagues throughout the world under fire for accepting Saudi investments, James will almost certainly be questioned about his trip. Fans of LA will be excited to watch LeBron and Hachimura work out together ahead of a huge 2023 season.
Rui Hachimura is reportedly training with LeBron James
At the end of August, All-NBA Lakers small forward LeBron James stood by as 25-year-old power forward Rui Hachimura, who had just signed a three-year, $51 million contract, made several three-pointers. The Lakers signed Hachimura to a long-term contract during this NBA summer.
Lakers supporters were ecstatic that Hachimura, along with Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell, had been retained. This brings back many of the assets that helped Los Angeles reach the Western Conference Finals last season. If Rui Hachimura can repeat his performance from the 2023 NBA Playoffs for the Lakers next season, LeBron James and the rest of Los Angeles will be overjoyed.

With LeBron James guiding Rui Hachimura’s offseason training regimen, both stars may be expected to deliver a powerhouse performance. There’s no reason to assume the Lakers won’t be at the top of the rankings next season. Especially given they boosted their bench with newcomers like Taureen Prince and Cam Reddish.
However, LeBron has the key to victory. The purple and gold will be sufficient as long as he’s the same player we’ve known for 20 years. He showed no signs of slowing down with a scoring rate of 28.9 points per game. However, if and when he begins his inevitable decline, things may take a turn for the worse.
