Cade Cunningham was the first pick in the year’s NBA Draft. The Detroit Pistons selected him. Cade had a slow start to the season due to an injury. However, the rookie found his way back to playing and is being monitored daily.
In the regular season, Cade is averaging 15.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. He is played an important role in keeping the Detroit Pistons alive this season. Cade appeared in his first All-Star weekend at Cleveland and was part of the Clorox NBA Rising Stars Challenge.

The second semi-final saw Team Barry take on Team Payton. Both teams had a well-constructed roster. Barry was strong with the big men and Payton had the guards. Team Barry featured Evan Mobley and the number one pick, Cade Cunningham, amongst others. Team Payton had LaMelo Ball and Scottie Barnes and other talented rookies and sophomores.
Cade and co ensured that Team Barry clinched the last spot on the Final’s birth against Team Isiah. Cunningham had 13 points in game one. The Finals saw Cade take the weight onto his shoulders to ensure that Team Isiah walked home with the Clorox Rising Stars Trophy.
Although Precious from the Toronto Raptor was on fire, Cade with support from Mobley and a bunch of talented G-League players, ensured they took home the W.

Team Barry won the trophy. It was absolutely beautiful to see how this team actually took the challenge seriously. They were the only team that actually did a shootout and formulated a bunch of plays. Their offense was top tier with a number of picks and rolls from Mobley and Cunningham. The Clorox Rising Stars MVP was given to Cade Cunningham.

Cade Cunningham will have the weekend to celebrate this before he returns to fulfill his duties for the Detroit pistons. No injury is going to stop Cade Cunningham.
