All-NBA level guard Bradley Beal will not be suiting up for the Washington Wizards in any more games this season. He will be undergoing season-ending surgery on his left wrist that will keep him sidelined. A timetable for his return has not been revealed yet but it will not be this season.
The last time Bradley Beal played for the Washington Wizards, was on 29th January 2022. It was a game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Wizards lost the game and Bradley Beal didn’t play well. He scored just 9 points and got 2 rebounds. But he also dished out 12 assists in that contest.
Since that game, he has sat out against Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Miami where they lost 3 of those games without him. And today Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed any questions people had of him coming back and when.
So far this season he has been averaging, 23 points per game, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds per game. His assist numbers are up but his scoring took a huge hit this season. His efficiency and percentages have also taken a dip from last year. It could’ve been chalked up to all the increased production and talent the Wizards acquired in the Westbrook trade but its effect is not showing up in the Win column.

With Beal’s contract coming to an end in this off-season, he could be one of the biggest targets all teams would want. Especially a team like the Portland Trail-Blazers that now have a lot of cap space and a goal to build a championship team around Damian Lillard.
Would he stay loyal to his Wizards even though they are not even a middle-of-the-pack team in the league anymore? Or the next we see him play, he’ll be dawning another jersey in another city?
