These past few months have been quite difficult and challenging for Bronny James. As many NBA fans should certainly be aware, Bronny is the eldest son of NBA star LeBron James and is expected to attend his first year of college at USC. Since his father expressed a desire to play with his son one day, the basketball world had its eyes on Bronny for quite a while.
Fans who have been following the news will know that Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest towards the end of July and has not been seen on a basketball court since then. There is no denying that this is an unfortunate setback in his plans to become an NBA player.
Thankfully, there is a little bit of positive news for Bronny in this process. With that being said, let us take a better look at the situation and find out more.
Will Bronny James be able to win the NCAA title?
Bronny James having a heart attack and requiring surgery is undoubtedly a matter of concern for basketball fans. After all, the entire rehabilitation and reconditioning process could take a long amount of time. That could mean that he will take a bit longer to declare for the NBA Draft as opposed to the expected 1 year of college.
While this might be sad news for NBA fans, those who watch college basketball will have a chance to see if Bronny is able to lead the USC Trojans to an NCAA title. Recent reports have revealed that USC has recruited another 4-star point guard named Trent Perry.

Although Trent is still a year away from attending college, he will certainly have the opportunity to play with Bronny and compete for an NCAA title in a year. While an NCAA title or any other college championship might not sound too impressive to NBA fans, there is no denying that the experience gained will transform Bronny.
Most importantly, we hope that Bronny rests up and prevents any effects from his heart attack and surgery from impacting his play for the USC Trojans. If he returns when healthy, the team will certainly have a chance of winning a college championship.
