Ja Morant has managed to find himself in plenty of trouble recently. He is currently suspended indefinitely. The Memphis Grizzlies franchise could not overlook the incident where Ja flashed a gun on social media.
The timing of these events could have been better, to say the least. When Ja started said Instagram live, he was in the middle of a controversy, where many accused him of attacking a 17-year-old boy. It brought a lot of hate to the NBA player, and he hasn’t responded until now.
Is Ja Morant suspended forever?
The length of his absence has led fans to believe that he’s suspended forever. However, the reality is that he’s been suspended for 8 games by Adam Silver.
The NBA is suspending Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant for eight games without pay for conduct detrimental to the league, sources tell ESPN.

Morant‘s suspension from the NBA has shed light on his family as well. Recently, rapper Cam’ron took a shot at Ja’s father, Tee Morant. On the ‘It Is What It Is‘ show, he said, “You gotta start being a more father figure…the sunglasses, the wilding out trying to fight Shannon Sharpe, having look-alike contests with Usher. I understand you’re the new age dad, but this is a little too cool. Tee Morant, we have to set a better example.”
Cam’ron hilariously took a dig at Tee, saying he was having “lookalike contests” with Usher, a well-known singer. Moreover, the rapper believes that Tee should be setting a better example for Ja.
This is not the first time Tee has come under fire. When he released a statement after Ja’s suspension, many pointed out that Tee was also part of the problem. This was even after he stopped his son from attacking the teenager further back in 2022.
Whatever the case, Tee Morant is unlikely to send a reply to Cam’ron, but many believe that he should have been teaching his young son and help with his choices.
