Caitlin Clark is one of the best long-range shooters in current college women’s basketball. She has completely taken the world by storm. Her accurate shooting has even earned praises from stars in the NBA. She is averaging 30.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 9.9 assists in the last ten games for Iowa.
This rising star from Iowa has already found her name in National news and is doing the impossible. Caitlin has a feat of consecutive 30-point-triple-doubles which has been achieved only by six players in the NBA and never in the WNBA.
Caitlin Clark drops 46 points, earns praise from Trae Young, and more
Clark and Iowa played against Michigan and lost 98-90. However, the game was amazing for Clark as she managed to put up a career-high 46 points. She also had 10 assists in the 40 minutes she played. It looks like Clark strongly believed in the motto of ‘taking shots, good or bad, all that matters is if it goes in”. This motto has been seen by many world-class shooters in the NBA including the greatest shooter of all time, Stephen Curry. When asked about all the high-risk shots she took, Clark had a simple yet justifying reply
It was coming down to the end and we didn’t want it to end in a bad way, so why not come out firing? So, that’s what I did. I feel like I played loose in the fourth quarter. I just started launching the ball at that point, It didn’t really matter. We were down 15, 16. The coaches just kept saying, ‘Fight, fight, fight.’
Her efforts did not go unnoticed. She earned a ton of praise on Twitter. Caitlin Clark even got a re-twee from the NBA’s very own logo shooter, Trae Young. Young took the time to say that you cannot question her shots when it goes in. We agree with Trae, Caitlin makes her shots and she puts points on the board.
Can’t say nothin when it goes in..💯
