Angel Reese has achieved her big break and the LSU Tigers have gotten what they deserved. The recent NCAA Women’s March Madness bracket had some fiery battles between Iowa, LSU, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and many more. Ultimately, LSU and Iowa managed to stay strong until the end. But what the world witnessed last night was far from what they had expected.
Over the last few weeks, Iowa’s Caitlin Clark was dominating the tournament and everybody started to believe that the Hawkeyes were finally winning a title. Clark went on to score unbelievable numbers, shooting for back-to-back 40-point games. The Hawkeyes were granted a title by default by several fans. But the LSU Tigers and Angel Reese erased all hopes during the finals, dominating in a 102-85 victory.
As the Tigers were about to officially close out the game, Angel Reese savagely gestured “You can’t see me” to Caitlin. Clark scored an impressive 30 points in an attempt to take home the title. But the Tigers’ overall form helped them win. Reese finished with 15 points and 10 boards as three other players scored about 15 points as well. The Tigers were the better shooting team.

Earlier in the tournament, Caitlin Clark also used the same gesture against her Louisville opponents. Back then, everybody started to call her a savage based on her performance that night. However, the tables turned drastically following Angel Reese’s actions last night. Even though her actions were just a product of competitive nature, she was thrown into the fire for it.

Dave Portnoy and other fans went absolutely ballistic, calling her out for it. They called her a “classless piece of sh*t”. This is certainly unfair towards her, especially as it’s a common thing to see during sporting events. Another fan called them out, saying, “When Caitlin Clark does it to Hailey Van Lith, she’s a competitor in the zone… but when Angel Reese does it to Caitlin Clark, NOW it’s classless and unsportsmanlike….we all know why but the inconsistency is always hilarious to me.”

This was just one of many comments that contributed to giving this particular fan a taste of his own medicine. Despite all the unusual things happening outside the NCAA, Reese and her teammates are having the last laugh at the end of the day. The LSU Tigers have long awaited this moment and now it is time to celebrate.
