She continued, “I wish you the most happiness and success in this next chapter of your young adult life. Continue to spread your wings and soar to new heights. Love you very much, Grammy.”
Gloria will be extremely proud of the fact that Bronny is headed toward a life of success. From seeing her son rise from a struggled-filled life to NBA stardom and now her grandson following his father’s footsteps, this is an incredibly proud moment for her. She has always been supportive of her family’s choices as well.
Who will Bronny James play with at USC?
Bronny James has one hell of a career competing for Sierra Canyon High School. According to USA Today, Bronny averaged 13.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game along with 1.8 steals during his senior year. The 18-year-old is no stranger to on-court success as he helped Sierra Canyon win a couple of school level titles as well. Now, James Jr. will take his talents to college basketball.
Bronny made an official announcement during Game 3 of the Los Angeles Lakers vs Golden State Warriors series of the 2023 NBA Playoffs. He decided to commit to the University of Southern California despite having offers from Duke, Ohio State, and other well-known colleges in the United States. However, he won’t be the only superstar on the USC Trojans roster.
Bronny will compete alongside the son of NBA legend Dennis Rodman. DJ Rodman is transferring from Washington State University to play at USC. The Trojans even landed the No.1 ranked high school recruit of 2023, Isaiah Collier. Just like his to-be teammate, Collier was also named among this year’s McDonald’s All-American recruits. Collier had Michigan State, UCLA, and others approach him as well.
