Fans are claiming that Ja Morant will be the reason Adam Silver leaves his position as NBA commissioner and becomes Disney CEO. As we all know, Silver is the Commissioner and the managerial face of the league. He has done a lot for the league since coming into the office on February 1st, 2014.
Now, more than 9 years later, there is a chance that he could leave the NBA and try his hand at doing something else. People tend to make links based on the events that are occurring. As we all know, Ja has been in a little bit of trouble after assaulting a 17-year-old and allegedly producing a gun at the scene. The scene was simply a basketball game that turned into a dispute and soon escalated.
As we all know, Adam Silver cares incredibly about the reputation and image of the league. Considering that this isn’t Ja’s first time on the wrong side of the law, there is no denying that he was tensed over this whole affair. Morant made it worse by even appearing on an Instagram live story and holding a gun, seemingly mocking this entire process.
Perhaps it is a mere coincidence. Nonetheless, Silver was shortlisted as one of the candidates to replace Bob Iger as the CEO of Disney.

This is certainly a profitable venture and the NBA commissioner has been dealing with players like Ja Morant for long enough. Therefore, fans concluded that Morant is certainly enough reason for SIlver wanting to leave the NBA.
