Jonathan Majors and Michael B. Jordan have been the talk of the town in recent weeks. The actors have starred in Jordan’s directorial, Creed 3, recently. The sports movie, which was focused mainly on boxing, was released earlier this month.
The first two editions of the franchise were a significant success. Still, the third edition is understandably more unique to the lead actor, Jordan [Adonis Creed] as he dons the director’s hat now as well. Majors [Damian Anderson] plays opposite Michael B. Jordan in the film. The pair have been involved in plenty of promotional events for the film, and they have managed to express their take on the GOAT debate as well.
Michael B. Jordan has come under the spotlight for sharing a similar name as one of the all-time greats. However, he chose Michael Jordan‘s rival in the GOAT debate. The actor said, “I am going to say, LeBron James; there, I said it. Been great for the longest and I am not comparing it to nobody. He could have played multiple sports, he could have gone pro and be a champion in multiple sports. I am saying LeBron James, so fight me.”

This didn’t go down too well with Majors, however. He expressed his opinion right away and said, “I might have to fight you, bro, because this is undisputed for me and I will go with Michael Jordan.” Right after this, Jonathan repeated His Airness’ name multiple times, which indicates how big of a fan he is. The interaction between the two actors attracted plenty of attention. But that has been the case with Majors’ latest action as well.
Why was Jonathan Majors arrested?
Jonathan Majors was recently arrested on charges including assault. Sources claim that police responded to a 911 call from a Manhattan apartment at 11. a.m. Police say that the victim, a 30-year-old woman, called the emergency line and reported that she was assaulted.
“Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition,” an NYPD spokesperson said.

Majors’ representative sent an email to AP and claimed that the actor had not done anything wrong. The statement said, “He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
The actor has been involved in plenty of projects this year, including Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. And this arrest will be a major blow to his reputation. Whatever the case, only further investigation will reveal if he has committed any wrongdoing.
