DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls wasn’t the only one from his family to contribute against the Toronto Raptors. The Play-in tournament between the Raptors and the Bulls was a spectacle. Yet another lower-ranked team caused an upset in the tournament. The Bulls defeated the Raptors, even after the Raptors were picked ahead of the Bulls to go forward.
DeRozan and Zach LaVine put up a good performance against the Raptors in the win last night. However, the most crucial player for the Bulls didn’t even set foot on the court for a second. It was DeRozan’s daughter, Diar who led the battle cry for the Bulls as the Raptors were unable to make their free throws count, and arguably the MVP for the Bulls.

Diar could be heard from the stands, screaming at the top of her lungs during the Raptors‘ free-throw routine. The Raptors entered the game with a record of 78.4 free throw percentage. However, last night it was a disaster as Diar kept distracting them. Pascal Siakam of the Raptors messed up his free-throw routine which could’ve possibly tied the game. However, it wasn’t his night and was a night to forget for the Raptors.
Diar DeRozan breaks Twitter after her hilarious reaction during Chicago Bulls vs Toronto Raptors
It was a horrendous night for the Raptors who were unable to put away half of their free-throw attempts. The Raptors missed an astonishing 18 free throws against the Bulls. If the Raptors were able to put up their lowest percentage from the free-throw line, they could’ve been the team to go forward. However, it has been a hilarious night for the fans who loved the performance from Diar.

Did more than DeMar to help the bulls win

DeMar ended up with a 23-point game and LaVine put up a 39-point game. Despite the Raptors coming into the game looking likely to take the win, they bottled it. It is fair to say a team that has been consistent from the free-throw line, was pocketed by DeRozan’s daughter from the stands. Last night’s 109-105 loss for the Raptors has officially ended their season putting all hopes to the ground for a playoff run.
