The NBA Finals are the brightest stage for the sport of basketball and Draymond Green is no stranger to the experience. He has been a pillar in the Golden State Warriors’ several playoff runs in the past. Therefore, one would expect the veteran to step up and, at the very least be useful to his team.
Draymond has failed to do even that. He has never been known for offensive prowess and game. However, he has always brought something to the table the Warriors desperately needed. This is usually clever playmaking and tenacious defense. However, his own mother recently tweeted her regarding her disappointment in watching him play in the finals so far.
Please ppl stop asking me what’s wrong with Dray… I DONT KNOW! Maybe this is a CLONE! Lmbo WHERE IS THE Draymond that helped get us here!! Hmmmm I have never seen this either!

Draymond Green didn’t spend much time dwelling on this parental chastising
It is never a pleasant thing to hear one’s parents say that he\she can do better. This is the truth, whether it be in the case of a child or an adult. The Warriors forward has shown a unique mixture of both these types of cases in his personality. He has played an abysmal finals series so far. Additionally, his very play seemed to involve getting under the opponent’s skin or fouling them to do Golden State’s dirty work.
Even if those aspects of the game are his specialty, he is still an NBA professional. Therefore Warriors fans were appalled to see him score 4 points, 9 points, 2 points, and 2 points in the 4 games they have played so far.
These numbers are inexcusable from someone who facilitates the Warriors’ offense and has a high ball usage rate. Additionally, if someone has Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson as teammates, they are more than likely to find themselves open every time one of the two is double-teamed.
It is unclear whether his mother understands all of this. Therefore, it was surprising to see her tweet which said, “pls people stop asking me what’s wrong with Dray… I DON’T KNOW! Maybe this is a CLONE LMBO, WHERE IS THE Draymond that helped us get here!! Hmmmm I have never seen this either.”
Draymond saw his mom’s tweet on his Finals performances 🤣

Despite all these factors that are supposed to be going Draymond’s way, he is struggling to be of use to the Warriors on the offensive end. Therefore, he will hope to have a bounce-back performance in game 5.
