The Golden State Warriors won Game 3 to beat down the already lifeless Dallas Mavericks. Stephen Curry scored 31 points in the do-or-die game for Dallas. And Draymond Green knows why Curry has been playing his heart out in this playoffs.
Stephen Curry, a.k.a. Chef Curry, is the greatest point guard of the modern generation. A champion, former MVP, and the leader of the dynasty has not lost his touch even this season. Last year, he won the scoring title at the age of 33. He’s currently averaging 27 points per game in the NBA playoffs and is in the conference finals.
Draymond Green lets out the championship mentality of Stephen Curry
Stephen Curry is a 3-time NBA champion but a 0-time finals MVP. Even though he’s the face of the Golden State Warriors he hasn’t gotten all the recognition. He was the cornerstone on which the dynasty was built. As a 2nd generation NBA star, Stephen Curry is the best player in Golden State history and doing well for himself.

The Warriors made the NBA finals 5 seasons in a row from 2014-15 to 2018-19. Due to injuries, the Warriors fell like a rock and hit rock bottom. They missed the playoff in 2019-20 and failed to win in the play-in in 2020-21. In that time they picked up great pieces and developed others even better. That propelled them to win 53 games and finished as the 3rd seed.
They’ve stomped their way through rounds 1 and 2 and are now playing in the Western Conference finals against Dallas. And, they are up 3-0, a record that guarantees them the series win and a ticket to the NBA finals.
Chef Curry is the best player on this team on most nights scoring points in bunches and giving his all on defense.
“What I know for certain motivated Steph Curry is that it’s been, this is now year 3 of us having us not being in the finals, we can change that and make it a 2-year drought…Not playing the finals for 2 straight years, losing in the play-in games last year, we’re back. We’re healthy. And that enough motivation in itself.”
Draymond Green knows that Curry hated not being in the finals for those 2 seasons and look to seek out his revenge this year. Some teams are happy after winning 3 titles in 5 straight finals appearances but not Curry. And that’s why Steph will not stop until it’s done.
