The Golden State Warriors see themselves down a dark alley as they are behind 2-1 against the Boston Celtics. They let the Celtics steal a game from the Bay which they look to be regretting already. In game 3, Draymond Green dropped the ball and basically handed the win to Boston and is now lashing out at other NBA players publicly.
Draymond Green is not the face of the Warriors but has been the key of the core that turned the Bay into a dynasty. He is the defensive anchor that is a former DPOY and even made the all-defensive team this season. Off the court, he’s shown a great basketball IQ as an analyst and host of his podcast. But on the court, that all seems to be lost as his play in game 3 was embarrassing.
Draymond Green takes an unwanted shot at CJ McCollum
In game 3 of the NBA finals, Draymond Green finished with a stat line of 2 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 6 personal fouls. He fouled out in the clutch when he was required the most and let the Warriors get steamrolled because he could not keep his emotions in check.
He’s played 19 games already in the playoffs and could not score over double-digit points in 11. Green is averaging less than 10 points per game for the first time since 2013. He’s also causing more problems on the court than he ever has. Draymond was booed off the court in the Finals.
He’s been the punchline of all jokes since this has happened. And even his wife has been attempting to defend him. But he’s still lashing out.
CJ McCollum of the New Orleans Pelicans gave his thoughts on the NBA finals matchup. He picked Boston to win the series which is not that bold of a claim. But the hot head of Draymond could not take it anymore.
“That’s fine. Those Celtics will still be ringless just like you. Respect.”

Draymond Green took a cheap shot at CJ. McCollum has never won a ring or even made an all-star team but he has had a bigger impact on his team than Green has had on his. CJ spoke in good faith and was made the victim to Green’s anger.
