NBA fans aren’t completely buying that LeBron James is currently suffering from a foot injury. As we all know, the Los Angeles Lakers are struggling for a berth in the postseason and currently hold a record of 30 wins and 33 losses, giving them the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
They recently played against Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Dallas Mavericks, managing to win after making a late comeback in that game. Unfortunately, LeBron looked like he injured his right foot during that game and has not played in the last two games for the Lakers.
While injuries are certainly a part and parcel of the game, fans aren’t very sympathetic to LeBron. Let us take a look at what they are saying and how fans feel about the King’s foot injury.
NBA fans accuse LeBron James of overselling his injury
LeBron is 38 years old and is also the NBA’s All-Time leading scorer. Having played in the league for more than 20 years would undoubtedly take a toll on his body. Especially, in a long 82-game regular season. Nonetheless, many were dishearted to find out that LeBron was initially expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks after his injury.
During the game against Luka and the Mavs, James drove hard to the rim with a few minutes left in the third quarter. He pump-faked Dwight Powell and attempted to explode in the air to score the basket. However, he ended up collapsing to the floor and grabbing his leg in agony. Moreover, he even claimed to have heard something pop at the time.
While that certainly sounds severe, the King stayed in the game and continued playing. Be that as it may, he was sidelined after it and has not played since then. We recently found out that the King will not require surgery for his foot and things don’t look that bad.
Therefore, NBA fans decided to take a shot at LeBron and questioned the legitimacy behind the injury in the first place, “The nba is so dramatic… we knew this dude was faking anyways, the nba love selling comeback stories.”

Another fan validated this perspective and called the injury fake, “Of course NOT! Fake injuries don’t require surgeries.” Many are under the assumption that LeBron is simply selling this injury in order to make the narrative around him sound better.
Of course NOT! Fake injuries don’t require surgeries 🤡.

Wants the injury excuses for when they miss the play in

Since we don’t know what the Los Angeles Lakers star is going through, perhaps these accusations are unfounded. Be that as it may, since he continued playing in the game against the Mavs and scored efficiently in the 4th quarter, fans are wondering if he is injured at all.
Yeah because hes not actually hurt lmao

In any case, we hope to see the King make a speedy return to the court in order to keep his team’s postseason aspirations alive.
