Jordan Poole has finally addressed his altercation with Draymond Green a little after his father Anthony Poole entered the discussion and called out Green for his behavior and justifications. As many Warriors fans should be aware, Draymond Green ended up punching Jordan Poole at the beginning of last season at a GSW training facility.
Since then, the media and fans wondered how the Warriors would address and move on from this situation. To the surprise of many, GSW ended up shipping Poole to the Washington Wizards in return for a veteran point guard in Chris Paul. Moreover, they also offered Draymond a new 4-year contract worth $100 million.
Now that they are no longer teammates, there is no need to be cordial or pretend to be on good terms for the sake of the team’s unity. Green explained that his violent actions were a product of Jordan’s cumulative behavior over the span of the year. At that point, Anthony Poole entered the discussion and called out Draymond for not apologizing to the family and avoiding them.
Now Jordan has finally addressed this entire issue in a more subtle way than fans might imagine. With that being said, let us take a closer look at Poole’s feelings about this ongoing situation.
Jordan Poole seemingly breaks silence for the first time since being punched by Draymond Green
Things certainly didn’t go too well for Poole this season. He was punched in the face by a Warriors veteran and then traded away to a lower-tier team in the Eastern Conference. However, he never let any potential disappointment or frustration he felt show and remained true to honing his craft and becoming a better basketball player.
Poole didn’t openly talk about the situation with Draymond. Instead, he merely posted a video of him working out to a song by Gunna with lyrics that are clearly a reference to his former teammate, “Talk of the topic…Find you a Hobby.”
“Talk of the topic…”

Although it is possible that Jordan just liked the son, several NBA fans feel that he is indirectly talking to Draymond. Some are mocking him for letting his dad get involved in the situation and others are joking that Green will punch him again if he continues to make posts of this nature.
Shit ain’t sweet in DC Draymond….

Poole is a better player than Draymond Green

In any case, we hope that both Draymond and the Poole family are able to put this matter to rest since it is in the distant past. If Jordan wants Green to stop talking about it, the least he should do is prevent his own father from intervening and inadvertently bringing more attention to Draymond.
