The Raptors took center court today with one goal in their mind, To hang on to their winning streak. The Houston Rockets wanted to snap the streak. The Raptors gave the Rockets the leag in the first quarter only to snatch it back and seal their 8th consecutive win. Gary Trent Jr was the star of the game.
He put up 42 points. Paskal Siakam put up 30 points. The two stars had to lead from the front as Fred VanVleet sat this game out and they did well. The two young guns combined for 72 points to help the Raptors.
While other teams were making big moves and plays, the Toronto Raptors have quietly become one of the strong teams in the NBA. They have handled clutch situations and multiple overtimes as well.
Trent has averaged 18.8 points per game. Pascal Siakam is averaging 21.8 and Fred VanVleet is putting up 21.6 points per game. Scottie Barnes is a contender for Rookie of the year. He is averaging 14.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
