The Memphis Grizzlies star, Ja Morant is on the wrong side of the fans after shocking revelations come to light. There have been numerous NBA players who shine bright on the court, and have a bad reputation off the court. Certainly, Ja is caught in that category, and the fans have already called him a “thug.” Ja is about to face a lot of criticism until the truth is brought to light on the matter.
Morant has landed himself in trouble after punching a 17-year-old and flashing his gun. This has brought a lot of scrutiny on the Grizzlies guard after his incident involving a 17-year-old. Shannon Sharpe on UNDISPUTED, called out Ja to correct his behavior and stop pretending. Things for him don’t look good, despite him not being convicted and arrested as the fans call him a thug and a fan tweeted, “He will be in Jail next season.”

One fan pointed out the incident from the mall, where he threatened a security guard at the parking lot. Though this news went unnoticed, it has been brought to light according to The Washington Post. According to Memphis Police Department, the incident was a simple assault on July 22, 2022. This incident began when an unnamed woman was asked to leave, eventually calling a group of people which included [email protected] this. Where Ja passed threats, “Let me find out what time he gets off,” said Morant according to the reports.

This reaction from the NBA fans is bringing an unpopular opinion about Morant, who should be avoiding this at all costs. Nonetheless, the investigation is underway, and will be hoping it’s over with as soon as possible to get out of this.
Will Ja Morant be suspended?
No decision has been made by NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver, and the Memphis Grizzlies organization. However, a fake viral clip of Adam Silver is circulating where he could be seen suspending Ja indefinitely. In the actual video, Adam Silver praises the number of international players in the NBA. However, the NBA Commissioner needs to address the issue and let it slide away.
Adam Silver at this point in time needs to stop avoiding this and take action. If there is evidence to this Ja needs to be suspended for this entire season and then we have to see if Ja ends up in jail.

As things stand, the prosecution is looking to be going in favour of the explosive guard. Morant admitted, “I swung first,” Ja told the detective, “The ball was to me the first hit.” in his defense. Ja’s agent also concurs this and is calling the allegation made against him “irresponsible and defamatory.”
