The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James are in trouble. After going on a winning streak of 4 games, they have fallen right back to the 8th seed with 3-game losing streak.
Even with all the talent and one of the favorite teams to win the championship. The Lakers have been nothing but a disaster. After the recent embarrassing loss against the Nuggets by 37 points, LA fans have been on the verge of demanding a trade from the franchise.
Even the great Magic Johnson tweeted on the recent struggles and said that they deserve more than a lack of urgency and efforts and also that the owner of the Lakers, Jeanie Buss deserves better.
After being blown out by the Nuggets 133-96, we as @Lakers fans can accept being outplayed but we deserve more than a lack of effort and no sense of urgency. Owner @JeanieBuss, you deserve better.

LeBron James took the matter into his own hands and apologized to the Laker Nation for their recent struggles and has promised to be better a better basketball team.
James has been playing on an MVP level and averaging 29 pointers per game, with a PER of 27.49 (4th in the league). It seems impossible that still, Lakers have a record of 21-22.
#LakerNation I apologize and I promise we’ll be better! ????????????

The team is poorly constructed with pieces that do not fit together and being the oldest team in the league, they cannot guard anybody one-on-one, which results in help defense which leads to an open man on the perimeter for a wide-open 3 point shot.
LeBron James deletes an old tweet where he defended the Lakers squad
The 4 times MVP deleted his old tweet. He wrote a “Keep talking about our squad, our personnel age, the way he plays, he stays injured, we’re past our time in this league, etc etc etc. Do me one favor PLEASE!!!! And I mean PLEASE!!! keep that same narrative ENERGY when it begins! That’s all I ask #ThankYou”
However, it seems like the critics were right. Westbrook is having one of his worst seasons ever. Players like Carmelo, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza cannot keep up with the pace of the league. And Anthony Davis is hurt.
This Lakers team reminds us of the 2012 Lakers. They also had aging superstars and questionable fit. Nevertheless, the King has given his response and the Lakers team as a whole will respond to their leader.
