As a result, there was a lot of competitive fire and trash-talking in the air.
Shannon has been one of LeBron James’ biggest supporters in the media. Amusingly, he became news for the media as he nearly got into an altercation with Dillon Brooks and Steven Adams. Things got so bad that Tee Morant, Ja’s father also got into a verbal disagreement with Sharpe.

Perhaps, he let his feelings get in the way and escalated a situation. In any case, he issued an apology and addressed all the parties that could have been harmed due to his behavior.
“Me, being the responsible person, me having the platform that I have and having so many people look up to me, I was wrong. I should have lowered the temperature in the arena. Instead, I turned the temperature up and I let it get out of hand….I want to apologize to the Lakers organization, Jeanie Buss, the Buss family, I apologize for any harm or unwanted attention that I brought to your organization.”

Shannon further admonished himself for letting his emotions run hot and for getting out of hand. He further reiterated his apology, speaking specifically to Dillon Brooks.
“More specifically I wanted to apologize to Dillon Brooks he is a fierce competitor and seeing him up close I get a sense of why he is what he is and why he’s wired the way he’s wired. Bro, I apologize…I also want to apologize to LeBron James, because y’all know how I feel about him and he’s supported me through thick and thin and Bruh I’m sorry that I put you in this situation that you had to support me in something like this…”
