The Brooklyn Nets traveled to Philadelphia to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. However, the Nets traveled with their star man, Kevin Durant. It was a night where everyone missed a feisty contest if Durant were healthy enough for tonight’s game. Despite Durant missing from the game, he didn’t miss out on another Trash talk session with Joel Embiid.
Haaaa Joel funny…great block clax.

The game was a very tight affair between the Nets and the Sixers, however, the home team did enough to claim the win. It was a fairly good performance from the Nets who look to have lost all their momentum. It was a good outing for Kyrie Irving, Seth Curry, and Nic Claxton. Despite the loss, Kevin got into another trash talk with Joel on Twitter.
Damn, I miss talking shit to Joel and montrez.

Everybody can agree that it would have been fun watching if Kevin Durant and Joel Embiid were both on the court. Durant started roasting Embiid during the game via Twitter in the early phases of the game. Claxton Blocked Embiid, and it sure was fun for the Slim Reaper.
How did Joel Embiid celebrate against Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets?
Joel Embiid certainly missed Durant during the game. In the third-quarter Embiid converted a lay-up and won over Joe Harris. He decided why not have some fun and get in the face of Kevin Durant. Embiid celebrated the play with his celebration from the past, the D-Generation X celebration on the court. He did so in front of his home fans, however, the message certainly got out.
JOEL EMBIID AND-1 CELEBRATION 😂😂😂🕺

KD who watched the game knew that the celebration is for him, and without wasting any time he posted another Tweet. KD captioned the post, “Trash celebration.” It would have been fun seeing the two going at each other, it would’ve certainly made the game even more competitive. Though the scoreline ended up being close,137-133, the Nets‘ lead only lasted in the first quarter.
Trash celebration @JoelEmbiid

It was a night both sets of fans missed on massive entertainment from their leading scorers this season. KD and Embiid, both have been crucial for their respective teams, and at times single-handedly turning up the heat. It is going to be a while before we see Kevin Durant back on the court for the Nets.
