Draymond Green has been the defensive powerhouse for the Golden State Warriors for the longest time. He is one of the core members of the team and is truly a huge asset to this star-studded Golden State Warriors team.
Draymond however has had a rough season when it comes to his physical health. He has sat out a number of matches due to an injury. The rest time post-recovery is also adding to the number of games he has missed this season.
The Warriors are going to take on the Miami Heat on the 23rd of March and will be looking to bounce back from their loss last night. However, fans are looking forward to seeing if Steve Kerr has decided to come in all guns blazing or rest their star players for later as they are for sure making the playoffs this season.
Draymond Green will rest against the Miami Heat
Draymond Green has been averaging 7.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game. When it comes to playing against the Heat, Draymond has decent numbers. He averages 5 points, 1.3 steals, 6.9 assists, and 6.3 rebounds. However, these skills will not be put to test tonight against Miami. Draymond Green has been listed as on rest for the match against the Heat.
Draymond Green has been frustrated with the way the Golden State Warriors have been playing post the All-star break. Losing some easily winnable matches and even losing against the lower teams in the league.
The Warriors lost against the Orlando Magic recently. Green spoke to the press after the match. He expressed his clear frustration with how they have been playing sloppy and slow basketball. He also added insult to the Magic at the end of his statement.
Draymond Green: “We’re losing a lot of fourth quarters…no disrespect to the Orlando Magic, but that’s one of the worst teams in the league…”
