James Harden kickstarted his season alongside Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. However as the team hit a slump, he decided that it was time for him to move to better things.
Harden sat out the last few games for the Nets claiming to have a hamstring injury. He then got traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Nets received Ben Simmons and even SethCurry in this blockbuster trade.
Harden is currently averaging 22.5 points, 8 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game. The fans are waiting to see him make his debut for Philly and luckily for the fans that date is not far.
James Harden set to make his Philadelphia 76ers debut
The Sixers fans have something to countdown to. Embiid and Harden were practicing together in the gym. They were going at each other during one-on-one practice. Embiid was seen training Harden on defense while Harden was helping Embiid master the step-back three.
Harden will be making his debut in his Philadelphia jersey against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. It is going to be a blockbuster to watch Karl-Anthony Towns go up against both Joel Embiid and James Harden.
Hopefully, Harden has thought Embiid enough and maybe the latter will drop a few step-back threes in the game as well.

The head coach Doc Rivers spoke about the anticipated transition period and how two huge players in the league would get together. Doc had a simple answer,
“Listen, putting James Harden into an offense is not that hard. It really isn’t, I mean, he’s just a terrific basketball player, so you don’t need to overcomplicate it.”
The Philadelphia 76ers are performing extremely well in the league. They are currently 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference. They are below the Miami Heat and above the reigning champions, the Milwaukee Bucks.
