Kyrie Irving is easily one of the most talented point guards in the league. He plays for the Brooklyn Nets with NBA superstar, Kevin Durant. Irving is one of the most talented stars and the duo of KD and him can actually bring the Nets a championship.
However, this season began with a number of rules and regulations that were set down to keep the spread of the coronavirus in check. One of the requirements for certain stadiums was that players had to be vaccinated if they wanted to play. New York City had extremely strict rules and Kyrie Irving’s stubbornness is seeing the Nets pay huge prices from time to time.
Kyrie Irving will miss the match against the Toronto Raptors
The Brooklyn Nets will take on the Toronto Raptors on the 28th of January. The match is set to take place on the Net’s home turf. The city of New York brought a glimpse of hope for the Nets fans however it was an extremely small window of sunshine.
Despite the city deciding to make changes to the restrictions laid down for entertainment and sporting events, Kyrie Irving might not be cleared to play in any of the home games just yet. Irving will also be missing the match-up against the Toronto Raptors.
However, according to credible sources, there have been rays f happiness around the corners. Many expect that the Vaccine mandate will be lifted by the 7th of March. This would mean that the Nets will finally have their star point guard back for home games.
