Kevin Durant is the leader of the star-studded Brooklyn Nets. Durant is one of the most talented players in the league. He has already achieved enough to guarantee a spot in the NBA Hall of Fame.
Kevin Durant will now have to play with a new teammate, Ben Simmons, and also with the brother of Stephen Curry, Seth Curry. The Brooklyn Nets are currently 8th seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 32-30. KD is set to make a comeback to the NBA later this week.
Kevin Durant looks to make an NBA comeback either on Thursday or Saturday
KD was ruled out with a sprained MCL in his left knee on the 15th of January. Durant has not played a game for the Nets since then. Brooklyn entered this season looking scary but with injuries and vaccine mandates they have fallen quite badly.
According to coach Nash, Kevin Durant has been working extremely hard to recover quickly. he is looking to make a stellar comeback for the Brooklyn nets and at least take them to a play-in spot first and then hopefully an NBA championship from there.
“We’re hopeful that he can play this week, He won’t play tonight. Hopeful, I guess, that would be Thursday or Sunday. So Kevin’s getting close, which is exciting. And Ben is still working through a number of things and reconditioning. He’s not going to play this week, but we’ll keep working on his timeline and hopefully, he progresses well.”
