Ja Morant was recently suspended by the NBA for 8 games. However, since he has already missed 6 games for the Memphis Grizzlies, Ja will be able to return on March 20, against the Dallas Mavericks. His return depends on his fitness levels as well. Hence, his return date still isn’t confirmed but fans can be delighted to know that it’s on the cards.

Morant has been the talk of the town this entire month. The controversies he has been involved in have landed him in plenty of trouble. The Grizzlies youngster was accused of attacking a 17-year-old boy when a pickup basketball game went wrong. If that wasn’t enough trouble for him, Ja flashed a gun during an Instagram live, right after the game against the Denver Nuggets.
This sparked rumors of Ja’s arrest and many thought he was suspended for 50 games as well. The main reason for this would be the fact that there were rumors that Ja brought the gun on the plane to Denver. That’s a violation according to the NBA’s rulebook and a lengthy suspension could have been the consequence Ja had to face.
Ja Morant believes he’s ready to help the Memphis Grizzlies challenge for the NBA title
In a recent interview with ESPN and Jalen Rose, Ja mentioned that he’s ready to set foot on the NBA court once again. He said, “When I get back out there, I’m going to be ready to go. Ready to push for a ring.”
It speaks at length about his mentality and how he’s willing to prove himself despite all the recent setbacks. His comments seem to have fired up fans as well. A fan tweeted, “DAMNNNN JA REDEMPTION ERA FOR REAL,” showing some real excitement with Ja’s return.

While many have praised his mentality to get back stronger, some have had a go at the Grizzlies star as well. One ruthlessly claimed that the fact that Ja is changed is “such a joke.”
