LeBron James has had an absurd history of flopping. Fans have been going back and forth about his tendencies to try in selling a foul. Despite all the controversial debates, the King remains one of the best basketball players in the sport. James’ season, unfortunately, came to an abrupt end despite the Los Angeles Lakers’ strong efforts to win the title. Regardless of what happened, James remains the great player that he is.
While LeBron James gave it his all against the Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs player, Jeremy Sochan threw some shade at the King following Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. James had a controversial fall after bumping into Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets.
Sochan tweeted, “Why does ‘King’ James flop so much?” LBJ stans did not spare the young star and went all out on him. There was a heated debate in the comments section on Twitter.

Fans tweeted a series of videos featuring Sochan’s flops during his time at Baylor University. “Flopping in college has to be the most embarrassing thing to a player,” said one fan calling out Jeremy over his hypocrisy. “N***a mad he at home watching games & not playing,” said another. King James’ army came to defend him after Sochan tried to drag his name. The Spurs rookie is probably regretting his comments.
Did LeBron James flop in Game 2 against the Nuggets?
Back then, the Los Angeles Lakers entered Game 2 in hopes of tying the series to create pressure on the Denver Nuggets. LeBron also had a great game but one specific moment had the entire world questioning his basketball credentials.
During a play mid-game, James went to defend Jokic and after finding contact, the King fell to the floor as though he was shoved. It is unclear what happened but many believe that LeBron tried to sell the foul to get Jokic into trouble.
Unfortunately, the Lakers lost the game despite James’ efforts to tie the series. The Nuggets won by five points 108-103. LeBron had 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists during the game. He was backed by 21 points from Rui Hachimura, who stole the shown offensively. Austin Reaves also had 22 points to end the game.
As usual, Jokic recorded a triple-double of 23 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists shooting 9 of 21 attempts from the field. Jamal Murray led the offense with 37 points and 10 rebounds. He’s been an important piece for the Nuggets, especially during the playoffs this season. Right now, the Nuggets are facing the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, a matchup nobody expected to witness.
